Organise Your Life And Improve Productivity By Using These Free Tools.

Proper organisation of people’s day-to-day undertakings can be demanding and very challenging. Deadline difficulties, forgetting what you have to do, getting overwhelmed as a result of too much activities to process or loosing track of what you planned doing can be a major setback to human development. In most cases, this can have a negative effect on our delivery either as individual, entrepreneur, as a freelance or even in the corporate world. To avoid such setbacks, having a To-Do list can be the simple solution you need.

To-Do List is an organised and prioritised list of all the tasks that needs to be carried out. It can also be seen as a list of everything that needs to be done, with the most important assignment at the top of the list, and the least important assignments at the bottom. It can help a person stay on top of important assignments and loads of tasks or results. If you want to beat down work stress or burden, To-Do List can be a lifesaver. It can be prepared in two steps, which are:

  1. Write down your assignments clearly. If it’s a large assignment, break it down into smaller assignments. This will give more clarity and a better action plan.
  2. Read your clearly defined assignments and allocate priorities to the assignments. Don’t forget to differentiate urgency and importance when prioritising.

You can also do this by using a diary, mobile phones calendaring, Gmail, MS-word, Excel, Outlook and various To-Do Lists Apps. When used properly, one can be a better-organised person, and be much more reliable. By using a To-Do Lists, one can:

  • Remember to carry out all necessary assignments;
  • Tackle the most important assignments first, and reduce time on unimportant assignments;
  • Reduce stress on a large number of unimportant jobs;
  • Help cut down stress level;
  • Know how to prioritise;
  • Know how to be organise and focus;

And in return, one would develop the habit of adding value on time and be more productive.

Nowadays, planning projects (e.g. Home projects, planning a party, planning finances, school projects, planning a trip, self improvement program, time management, exercise program, shopping lists to name a few) on a paper based to-do list can be a daunting task. 8 Biggest Limiting Beliefs of Young Entrepreneurs

Some entrepreneurs are seen as world changers either young or old e.g. Howard Schultz of Starbucks, who had to come back to the company he originally built to reinvent it or Reed Hastings who turned a forty-dollar video late fee into a disruptive upstart called Netflix. You also can be seen as one of the world changers. All you need is to start that business you have been procrastinating about today. Some of the common traits you need to kick-start the business are passion, confidence and persistence. Even Steve Case of AOL said “You shouldn’t focus on why you can’t do something, which is what most people do. You should focus on why perhaps you can, and be one of the exceptions.” As an aspiring or young entrepreneur, don’t be afraid to fail because that is one of the biggest limiting factors why people are stagnant. Don’t forget what Albert Einstein said – “A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.”

Here are 8 limiting beliefs of young entrepreneurs and 8 powerful re-frames examples to consider written by Aleks George Srbinoski as published on the Fulfilling Happiness blog.

Click here to access the article and please do share your views on other beliefs or re-frames examples in the section below this post.
